Absolutely agree!

I am extremely happy for Mao winning the world champion, but furious with the score she had been given in free skating. The score should be MUCH MUCH HIGHER! I am touched by Mao’s efforts and strength, which i call it Japanese Spirit. To chase the strongest, highest and faster is the spirit of sport games.

I wish Mao all the best in the future. Best regards from Beijing.

Thank you all for your nice comments. I understand how Susan moves peolpe mind. We all are still very lucky because the world could discover Susan Boyle before it’s too late, in spite that we could not enjoy her angel voice of her younger time. If she didn’t decide to sing at British contest last year, we would have missed the godsent human talent.

travelman, thank you for this uplifting article & for explaining the history of “Wings To Fly”. Susan has captured the essence of this song with her beautiful voice. She has the amazing ability of bringing the words to her music to life. We not only hear the words, we feel them. I’m so glad it has been well received in Japan, but do wish it could be released around the world because it carries a beautiful message. Who better to deliver it than Susan Boyle.

I had heard this translation of this song performed by a Japanese singer and thought it was beautiful. When I heard Susan was singing it on the Japanese album, I ordered it from amazon. jp. It arrived promptly, and I was delighted with Susan’s version, as she is my favorite singer. It is definitely more expensive than the other CD’s of her songs, but for me it was well worth it. I understand that there are now some resellers who can provide the album at a lowere price because of a reduction in shipping costs, so I hope more people will be able to hear this breathtaking music. I’m glad to know that Susan Boyle’s version is such a hit. For me, it’s the most beautiful song, sung by the most beautiful voice ever.

The depth of Susan Boyle knows no bounds! This song is incredible! No wonder Japan is thrilled with Susan’s rendition, it’s absolutely ‘off the charts’!! I’m convinced there isn’t anything she can’t sing and make it her own! I hope this single is released soon to the rest of the world.
We’ve only just begun to fathom her ‘TALENT’ and Susan herself! She is just in a category all her own!! May God Bless her and keep her always in His care. I pray she really knows how much the world loves her.

This is a little bit surprising event for me ( and for many Japanese too). We certainly like this song but I ( or we) have never imagined that a foreign singer could sing this song better than Japanese singers because this song was thought to be more like a Japanese flavor song than world level western pop music. But she did it. Susan made this song FLY !
I also hope this song by Susan Boyle would be released all over the world. But then, the original composer of this song will get tremendous amount of copyright commission later without any expectation ! If so, he or she must thank Susan !?? But I believe this song’s composer really appreciates it now because the song is now completed by her voice, finally at its best imaginable.

It is wonderful to learn the full history of the song, and I am delighted to know that the Japanese people love the way Susan Boyle sings this beautiful, hopeful song! I am an ardent fan of Susan Boyle, and I encourage you to keep writing about her throughout her career, travelman, because she is such an amazing singer!! By the way, Did you know that Susan Boyle’s version of Wings to Fly is only for sale in Japan? I bought the album I DREAMED A DREAM through amazon.jp and had it shipped to me in the United States, because I love hearing Susan Boyle singing Wings to Fly very, very much!
