The Japanese government expressed the new idea of airports use in Tokyo. 

Some who have ever used Japanese airports in Tokyo may know that Tokyo has 2 airports, Narita Airport for international and Haneda Airport for domestic flights.  Wise people soon notice that it’s ridiculous if international and domestic airports are far separated. Yes, Tokyo has ridiculous airports.

If someone needs to go to a country town in Japan, it means he or she needs to TRAVEL  from Narita airport to Haneda airport after arriving in Tokyo International Airport, Narita.

Also the time for that airport junction is incredibly long because the 2 airports are located so far.

Generally thinking, the most ridiculous person is the person who made this idea, and decided this when Narita was made. 

Before Narita airport was made, Haneda had been an airport for both domestic and international.  But increasing demand for air transportation necessitated the government to set up the new one only for international use. That became Narita Airport.

But  the new idea expressed today was a little interesting because it says Haneda should be the HUB airport for international and domestic. For travelers, this is a good news.

But this kind of new construction often causes a lot of troubles because it brings pretty penny whichever the result may be.

I’ll try to keep my attention on this issue from now on.

　I like Hawaii. Prrobably Hawaii is the most beloved travel destination by the Japanese. When we get tired of business, we say ” we wanna go to Hawaii”, and when we feel stressed, we say ” we wanna live in Hawaii “. Many like Hawaii and they often have their own image about Hawaii. Some like nature, and the others like people.

Today, I write about Japanese food in Hawaii.

There are a lot of types of food in Hawaii, that’s because of the location, many people came from different countries with their own culture. And the food was one of their cultures.

Japan and Hawaii have more than 100 year relation history. When Hawaii was in trouble by flu, they lost labour power by the flu. They asked Japan for help then, and Japanese workers crossed the ocean to Hawaii.  They first worked in the farms.  Later they formed Japanese community and they lived with Japanese cultural style including Japanese food.

Maybe that was the start of the Japanese food histroy in Hawaii. Now we can find a lot of Japanese food in Hawaii, and many of the Hawaiian style food or Western food tastes like Japanese teriyaki.  As you see the photo, that humberg steak is topped by Japanese teriyaki source.  To be honest, the source is too much for Japanese.  In the photo, humberger rice is floating on the liquid source !

But it’s easy for us to live in Hawaii.

Hawaii has many Japanese restaurants, Japanese named people, Japanese named street and spots, and Japanese cultural influence are a lot.  The best point of Hawaii is that all the imported culture in Hawaii is melted well and live together. There is no trouble among ethnic groups and that is a very unique and wonderful aspect of melting pot.  Maybe this utopia can never be found in other places in the world, Hawaii has ALOHA spirit which welcomes any people withe peace.

We need to thank Hawaiian people for growing and keeping Japanese culture for a long time. So we can enjoy beautiful Japanese food anytime we visit.

 Japanese Fall started. From now till the end of November, the trees in the mountain turn their leaves into red. Fall is the most beautiful season in Japan.

In the history, many poets were born writing about the heart of fall.  Dining table becomes colorful with seasonal food stuff.

For travelers, Kyoto’s fall is especially beautiful with historical buildings and the red leaves. Above photo is the Golden Temple in Kyoto, which is probably one of most popular sightseeing spots in Kyoto.  Red and gold match well now.

Golden Temple is also known to the world because the renowned novelist of Japan, Yukio Mishima, wrote a book with the title, Golden temple or Kinkakuji. It’s his masterpiece which represents his works. It’s translated into some languages, please read if you have some interest in Japanese novels.

 Hayao Miyazaki fans or Studio Ghibli fans maybe know that there is a Ghibli museum in Tokyo, Japan. It’s a very very popular attraction in Tokyo which gathers a lot of people every day from all the parts of Japan and from the world.

If you have a chance to visit Tokyo, this place is one of the top recommendation to visit for travelers. If you don’t like Anime or animation, maybe it’s not your interest. But Anime is one of the Japanese POP culture already and the quality is high enough for adults too.

Many of the Japanese adults also like Studio Ghibli animation.  You can see the website at Ghibli Museum by Hayao Miyazaki.
