In Japan now, Trans-Pacific Partnership or TPP is a hot topic among the nation. This means free trading among several countries around Pan Pacific countries.

They, on the media, say there are pros and cons.  But the more we get to know it, the harder it becomes for us to join in the treaty.  There is no advantageous aspects for Japanese people (not Japanese big companies).  Only the positive force about this is the exporting business based companies of Japan, such as Panasonic, Sharp, Toshiba, Hitachi, Sony, or the other production companies.

They are famous but the gross business rate of them in the total Japanese GDP is only 1.5%.  Japan is not an exporting business country. Those brands are indeed famous, but they already have overseas factory, of course in the USA too.  Their business is not seriously affected by tax rate.

If we have this treaty, Japanese agriculture or many more industries like financial system, insurance, or medical business will be heavily damaged by different trading system introduced by the USA.

Then, why are the Japanese politicians trying to join in this disadvantageous treaty ?

We all know the biggest reason is the strong request from the USA, at the same time, it’s fact that there are many Japanese politicians who seek for their own benefit rather than thinking about whole Japanese nation.

How long do we Japanese people need to stand this …..

Today the American financial talks among US politicians are still going on.  Yet, no solution for the upcoming default risk of American monetary system is shown.

Are you America really going to see the worst result ?

More seriously, in Japan there is NO media which report this world economy crisis with clear explanation.

2nd of August is silently coming closer.  Why is the Japanese government keeping calm about it ?   I really want to know the real situation we are faced now.

I like taking photos.  Usually I use old analog type camera of 35mm films. But recent technology forces me to use new digital camera.  Actually 35mm film camera is no longer in use even in business fields like magazinesproduction or paper coverage.

Today, I first used Nikon P300.  I tried some more digital camera models before, that’s why at least I know how digital cameras work in quality, being compared to analog film type cameras.  As a result, Nikon P300 is an amazing camera, which enables us to enjoy taking photos as if we use a single lens reflex camera.  Quality of taken photos by this camera is far better than compact type digital cameras ever produced before, I think.

If it’s now hard for you to choose a camera for a travel use, this is a good one for anyone.  Easy to use, easy to carry with, and fun to take photos with it !

Ten to one, directors of Tokyo electricity companies or related politicians of Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant ( or in a broader sense, the positively committing politicians on nuclear power policy of Japan) will not be standing on the court for their guilty of this nuclear accident of Fukushima.  This is easily supposed, at least from my eyes.

University professors on TV make comment for government or electricity company on this matter, which means they all are paid by the companies or by government to promote nuclear power plants in Japan.  I don’t like professors at all because they don’t stand in the middle as the study of justice but they are always with money side. They are criminals too, this time.

So, these criminals all will not be put on a trial, probably.  It means national power is never judged guilty at court.

Think, if we Japanese persons, or even Japanese companies, once make wrong result and if we cause a huge trouble like food poisoning, explosion, or anything, and if the accident once causes the dead, then,  people or companies would absolutely be punished at court and we would get heavy sentence.

I still doubt that no one of government, electricity company, or professors grown by government or the company with pretty penny would be punished at court time.

If so, if it would be really so, Japan already lost the justice of law.  I don’t really want to see it.

How many people in Japan know this conflict of justice ??  I don’t think even the evacuating people from accident of Fukushima know this matter.

Prius is still a very popular car for its economy driving performance.  Toyota got damaged on their production schedule by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. That influenced on New Prius Wagon Car’s release in the market.  However, after the long delay of sales launch,  Prius α ( Prius Alpha) is to be on market finally.

Prius is the top selling car in Japan now, but if I dare to find a fault on it, Prius doesn’t have enough types for varieties of car users.  Here, the new wagon type Prius is ready to go.

I personally like outdoor type car.  With new Wagon Type Prius introduction into car market, this would be one of my next future choices when replacing present car with new one.

Japanese people are now keen on eco-life together with the disaster recovery, so that new Prius already got more than 10,000 pre-orders before its introduction into car market.

I would love to drive it if a chance comes.

Shintaro Ishihara is a Japanese politician, who is governor of Tokyo metropolis at this moment. He used to be a novelist in Japan and some of his books created sensation at their publishing time.  Maybe because of this career of his background, his remarks at any lectures often make people consider something.  He sometimes uses a little complicated words for standard people but it’s because he expresses in detail by using right vocabulary.

He as a sole politician gave a suggestion in a paper about Japanese now and future.  The timing of his contribution is just by the earthquake in Japan, and he put emphasis on the wrong life style of Japanese people after the war.

Ishihara says that Japanese relied on the USA, who bombarded Japan with Atomic bombs, which was a cynical aspect of Japan because Japan needed American support on Nuclear Power technique even though the USA used Atomic Bombs to kill Japanese people.  Now Japan again is suffering from the American nuclear management, in a sense, as Japan relied on the USA.

He asks why we needed American support so much.  He also points out that what we enjoyed after that war was just a cheap valued prosperity of society.  Do we really need what we use now ?  Aren’t we happy without them ?

His point of view is, in a sense, right.  That’s often pointed out by many Japanese, not only by wise men but also by average people. We all, maybe, doubt if our life style after that war was happy enough.

Now we are in shortage of electricity, and earthquake brought the shortage of oil, food, and information.  But if we look back 50 years ago, we didn’t have them all.  We could live without much electricity, much food, or much information.  In a different word, we could live as we were, not had to become like cool and stylish with such selfishness or useless vanity.

I don’t always agree to Shintato Ishihara.  But recently, I nod to his comments often.

Unemployment rate at the time of March 2011 in Japan was 4.6%, which looks still better under this world financial crisis aftermath.  But this figure will be worse because of the earthquake, also the figure we see here is just visible unemployment, if we look closely at the invisible unemployment, some say it should be over 10% in Japan.

Today news says that unemployment rate in Spain recorded highest ever at 21.29% .  World economy is already out of control now.  American unemployment rate is reported around 8 to 9 % now, but we know it’s like stealth figure not to panic workers and economy of the world.  Maybe that of America would be over 10% or 15% at worst prospect if we correctly take all the conditions into account.

US dollar is still unclear about its future recovery, and Euro is suffering from default-like crisis of some EU countries, also Japanese Yen came to be unreliable with this earthquake and tsunami.  What would be the next leading currency ?  Chinese one, Brazil one, or Indian one ?

Anyway, it’s not healthy situation at all.

One history I remember is that world often had wars when economy crisis happened.  And after the war, economy was back in harness in most of the nations.  This might be a sample to recover in the history, of course, I don’t like this sample.

“Immunity from compensation to victims could be considerable”  This is a comment remarked by Tokyo electricity company’s president, Masataka Shimizu. Of course, this news put huge fire on the hearts of good-natured citizens of Japan.

Lords of comments against this idea are on the website of Yohoo Japan by contributors.

Yet the accident is not settled under control of human, which means still there are a lot of people suffering from losing houses, jobs, or even food for a day.  All this negative life was brought by the accident.  Knowing this, how could people say about immunity ?

Before this comment, he also said that cutting wage of directors by 50% is really hard for them.  We just doubt our ears if this was a real comment by the president who knows about the victims’ situation now.  50% cut still allows the directors to have more than 200,000 USD annually.  This salary is just the surface of their asset. Additionally they still have houses, land, bond, or more asset.  How is it hard for them ?  Compared to victims who lost ALL OF THEIR LIFE by this accident, how can he say “it’s really hard for us”.  Disgusting !

Many contributors on Yahoo Japan pointed out this conflict and it’s like a friction between average mind and sly dirty mind.

Anyway, Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant showed twisted society we live in.  I think this depicts after-war distortion of society in Japan, too.  Shame on you ! dear President !  This should be the word from victims about his comment.

Today’s news was shocking for Japanese economy again. Sony’s playstation customer information leaked onto internet and it seems about 77 million user information at maximum.

This affects world wide internet users and Sony might lose trustful relationship with their playstation fans.

Japanese top companies recently face unbelievable troubles.  Toyota was blamed badly in the USA although Toyota was accessed “No Problem” in the end by American government.  And this time, Sony is being attacked by unknown hackers through internet world.

Japanese economy is already damaged by earthquake and tsunami, on top of that, one of the best companies of Japan here again is in crisis.

I’ve never seen many troubles like this occasion happening at the same time.  Coincidence ?  ….I don’t know.

In Japan, there has been a very useful city information magazine called PIA.  This PIA magazine covers mainly over the big cities like Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, etc.,  and the wide range of information from gourmet restaurants to entertainment events of movies or music concerts have always been the must information for enjoying city life especially for younger generation of Japan.

PIA magazine announced it would finish publishing in June this year

History of PIA magazine started in early 70′s in Japan by a van project of ambitious students in Tokyo at the time.  They tried to meet with the growing demand of students or youngsters then, and their foresight was successful enough to grow PIA as the top city information magazine.

Ever since PIA was born, absolutely all the Japanese youngsters in big cities have obtained necessary entertainment information through PIA.

PIA will end.  It means even the popular city magazine of thelargest publishing copies could not stand the test of time, the upsurge of Internet life revolution.

I often worked with PIA magazine, too.  It’s sad to hear this news but some members of PIA also predicted this ending already back in 1990′s when Internet information flow began.  I also work on Internet, not on magazine business now.  All things must pass.
