All the items of Tiffany sold in Japan seems to be discounted 5% from 20th of November. Tiffany is especially popular among Japanese teenager to 20′s, and they often present Tiffany jewelry to their girlfriend on Xmas Eve.
I don’t know when this CUSTOM started among young counples in Japan, but I’ve always seen a lot of couples in Tiffany stores in Tokyo. Actually once my wife asked me the same thing when she was my girlfriend. I was lucky I could ignore it although I paid more later for that.
For the couples, it’s a nice news. Maybe they can buy Tiffany a little reasonable price thanks to recent Japanese stronger currency rate.
As a lament of a man of the past, why do the couple need Christmas so much ? In Japan, they just party all night. Because we are not Christian, why do you all like Xmas so much ? Let’s party over the new year’s day for Buddha !
Anyway, Xmas is not Japanese related culture at all, it’s for party only. I don’t think its a good idea for Jesus either.
