There is a small city called Obama in Japan.  The pronunciation is perfectly the same as the President Obama, although a little intonation differnce exist. 

This Obama city has been crazy about president Obama since the election race of American President.

Certainly, the promotion effect for this city might be very big.  But as far as I see the city’s crazy party situation about it, I strongly doubt that they are simply crazy because of accidental same pronunciation happening. They don’t care of the promotion or something, they are just innocently happy with the ENCOUNTER of the president.

They send letters of invitation to the President Obama. of course, the President can’t managet time to visit this small city with childish people.  It’s a good choice for President Obama to settle there after he retires. They will be crazy again and President Obama will be the honoured citizen there.

Some may think this is an interesting topic, but for me, it’s not at all.  If just the residents of the city are jumping with it, I can pass the information through without checking it. But now the Mayor ( photo ) also is smiling and cheering President Obama because just the pronunciation is the same. Are you real crazy ?

Mayor, you have more things to do and think for your city than partying over pronunciation.   Shape up, Behave yourself, and WORK !
