News about Motoharu Sano’s new CD box appeared today.

MOTOHARU SANO 1990-1999 ORIGINAL ALBUM REMASTERED is the title of the CD box. MOTOHARU SANO is still admired as a music hero of Japan. Although he grew old and lost his voice power recently, still fans are expecting his new projects.

This CD box contains the digitally remastered titles released in 1990′s in Japan as below listed.  The release date is scheduled on 21st of December 2009 and this will be a limited press for Internet sales only.

Motoharu Sano has been playing Rock Music in Japan.  When we say Rock in Japan, to be honest, it’s a little shame because Japanese Rock music has no protesting message often.  Rock music of Japan is more famous for visually impressive rock bands than the aggressive bands with anti-social message.  Originally  Rock has been such a voice of young musicians.  Now Rock music of Japan is totally commercial.

Motoharu Sano has been a original type Rock musician since he started. He sang songs with much messages, which made fans get moved and that has been his biggest presence in Japanese music scene.

As above, the original rock musicians are getting less in number, we should expect Motoharu Sano to keep rocking.

As a music fan, I feel he became a worse singer recently.  I know his maniac fans will get angry, but actually, when he was young, songs he sang were very good to listen to. Now I sometimes feel he sings out of key and his voice went weaker than ever, in a word, he is not a good singer at all.  If my understanding is wrong, please ignore it. It’s just a simple remark of a simple music fan.

This next song was released almost 30 years ago, still good although it reminds me of HUNGRY HEART of Bruce Springsteen.
