Flash Forward is a recent American TV series, which started on September 24th 2009. The starting impression was really great enough to get more than 100 countries of licenced boadcasting from the 2nd week.
Today’s news says that YUKO TAKEUCHI, a Japanese actress, played a part in the program aired on November 5th.
It’s strange for us because no advance promotion was made on her in Japan. Usually when Japanese actors take part in any projects of American movies or TV programs, it’s announced before the start. For Japanese actors, it’s an honor and good promotion to tell they are participating in American works.
This time, YUKO TAKEUCHI had no press meeting or news release in Japan or in the world. That was probably decided by American TV management team for keeping mysterious secret of the program.
Anyway, this program seems to be starting in 2010 in Japan. YUKO TAKEUCHI is rather a Japanese traditional flavor actress. For fans, it should be a good discovery on her new aspects.
As a reference, she plays a good role in a Japanese movie called CLOSED NOTE, and more works.
