HISAYA MORISHIGE died of senility

morishigeIt’s a sad news. Hisaya Morishige died of senility today at 96 years old.  He was a Japanese actor representing the time post the 2nd word war, or the time of good old days of Japan.

Morishige was not an active type star, but his attitude to dramas was always a textbook of Japanese as a good  part of Japanese humanity.  He talked qiet with intelligence, and he explained the beauty of life.

His existence was just “Good Old Days of Japan” for me. I still remember when he played a role of stubborn and funny father with Muga Takewaki as his son in the much loved TV program, Daikon no Hana. He made us happy when he coming up on TV, and he showed us how to lead a life with satisfied heart.

I miss him very much. But I’m willing to applause his life, which has been finished today as a destiny given by God.

Peolpe’s life doesn’t last forever. But when the life was filled with precious memories, the end of the life makes no saddness but happiness.

Thank you very much, Hisaya Morishige.  You made us happy.
