YAMAHA PIANO as NO.1

yamahapiano

For Piano players, the best piano in the world would be Steinway’s.  Bosendorferor some German piano could follwo Steinway’s piano in the standard reputation. I also play the piano and recently it’s becomeing to tell the difference of the sound. It took long time to taste the sound well.

The reason for that is because I’m not a professional player.  For an ordinary music fan, first of all finding the pianos from overseas in Japan is really hard.  In addition, playing it is nearly impossible.  If I try to play it, I need to commute to a music shop for test play.  No shops allow people to play every day for test !

I lived in overseas countries for years. That experience gave me more chance to play the pianos I’ve never played.

As my impression, their sound is really nice. More than the impression of sound, I was impressed with the touch or feeling in playing on them. That was a kind of human craft work sound. Piano itself seems to remember craftsman’s mind “when they were being made by craftsmen”. So each piano has slightly different sound even if the model number is the same.

YAMAH is still my favorite piano brand. World NO.1 piano maker is YAMAHA in the sense of the pruduction numbers. YAMAHA offers the biggest chance for music lovers to touch the piano as YAMAHA distribute pianos ain many part of the world.

YAHAMA’s sound is crystal clear and a little solid compared to Japanese KAWAI or above popular pianos.  YAHAMA produces piano on factory lines so that the sound of YAMAHA never betray YAMAHA lover’s expectation.

Some say it’s not interesting.  For me, YAMAHA is the best. YAMAHA piano really gives me the high quality sound I need anytime I play. So it’s reliable piano.

When I played above pianos, I sometimes felt the sound wired especially in humid time or rainy days. It means the piano is affected by climate and temperature. That’s a proof of good acoustic piano, so I understand what professional players say.

BUT, I’m just a standard hobby player.  For me, sound should be kept on the level I like anytime, otherwise, I can’t enjoy the piano as it takes too long time to adjust the piano sound before starting to play.

Many professional players also use YAMAHA piano. So YAMAHA is not especially for hobby players.  YAMAHA just proves that it’s OK for both type players.
