In Fall of Japan, leaves turn red and fresh air will pass you by when you step in natural wonderland.

If you plan a tour to Japan in Fall, one of the most recommended places is Nasu Highland or Nasu Kogen.

This is a famous place for the Japanese as Emperor often uses the resort hideaway in Nasu Highland for escaping hot summer and busy days.

Color is fantastic and historical hot springs gives relaxing time of rest. Although it’s a high class area, prices for accommodation or transportation fee from Tokyo is not that high. It’s rather cheap when we think of its beauty and promised time for relaxing.

In November, Nasu area’s wood turns the color to red and yellow. The contrast of trees and sky or lakes is unforgettably beautiful.

I used to live close to Nasu highland.  When I was a kid, I did not think the nature around me was such wonderful.  Now when I visit this place after growing, the breathtaking beauty makes me realize that I was really raised here and I certainly missed such a treasure of our nature when I was a kid.

I think I ‘m really lucky to know this place and keep the scene of Nasu’s Fall time in my mind for good.
