Jedaism in Japan 2

ise1There is an old and original religion called SHINTO in Japan. This was born probably more than 2000 years ago in Japan. It’s related with Emperor of Japan.

SHINTO shrine honors its God but it’s not visible from us human. We don’t have idol worship at shrines of SHINTO samely as Judaism.

There are uncountably large number of Shinto shirines in Japan. Each of them has its own God to honor. It’s not one and only God doctorine but it’s believed there are many Gods resting in nature of Japan.  This is different from Judaism, but if you are familier to Kabbala, you must know that there is visible side story and invisible side story or bright side and dark side.  On the bright side story that we are taught officially, there are many Gods in Japanese Shinto, but on the back side, it’s said there is only one God in Shinto.

Why did I say about Kabbala  ?  It’s because Shinto seems to have the same kind of theory as Kabbala has.

If I expand on Kabbala from Japanese Shinto side, it will take more than a day or two to tell it all.  Before that, I’m not sure about it because it’s a story that has never been told.  All of the information we can get is just ” a Guess”.  But some say it must be related with each other because Shinto doctorine is too similar to Judaism written in old testament.

If you go to the top shrine of Shinto, Ise Jingu (photo at bottom, you will see a lot of resemblance there.  On the route leading to the main shrine, you will find the mark of Israel ( as photo ) on the stone lanterns.  It’s unusual for us.  Ise Jingu is believed that it honors the God of Shinto, which made the Emperor of Japan.  In the holly place, why is this mark curved ?

In the shrine, you will see the old and grand buildings. In the one of them, there are three Sacred Treasures (symbolizing the Japanese Imperial throne) : the mirror, the sword, and the crescent jewel just like Judaism has the three sacred treasures. And the building of the shrine is really like the old shrine of Israel in the idea of reaching God.  The place, direction, and the poles of the buildings are designed same, and it has a place to wash hands and body by water before going in as Judaism shrine had.

Ise Jingu is the top ranked shrine among all of the Japanese Shinto shrines. And it’s God is God of the Sun or the Creator of all the things.  The God is believed to have appointed the first Emperor of Japan back in B.C. 650 or so.

If Ise Jingu is somewhat under the influence of Judaism in the old time of Japan, and if it was built under the doctrine from old time of Israel, who is the God in the Ise Jingu Shrine ?  And…who is Emperor of Japan ?

This is a taboo story of Japan maybe. It’s free to have a guess like a mystery entertainment.  But it’s also true that some investigators strongly believe that Japanese Shinto was a reflection of Jewish people, who came to Japan when the Shinto of Japan was about to be formed.

As for me, I can’t help thinking, at least, there is much influence of Jewish because it’s nearly one of the facts of Japan that there used to be lots of immigrants from western world, called Hata Clan, who seemed to be the Jewish with Primitive Christianity. And Hata clan had strong influence over Japan in politics, economy, and arts too. Some say Hata clan had some of the people from the 10 LOST TRIBES.

Hata clan is a really strange group of people in Japan. It’s just explained in the school textbooks but they don’t show any idea who the Hata clan was.  But if we read some books about them at book stores, there surely are a lot of studies about Hata clan. They often say that Hata clan was Jewish people and they came to Japan around 4 or 5 times in total over 400 to 500 years time span. Each time they came with more than 10,000 people.

If we search for them more, many proof that they started Japanese Shinto shrines come up. They built many shrines in Japan, and they started using Omikoshi at festivals of Japan as explained in previous post. Interestingly, many say the origin of the Isejingu ( above stated ) was also designed by Hata clan.

They built up a new city in 794 in Kyoto, and the place is similarly designed as the city of old Jerusalem.  Anyway, if stories of Hata clan start, it would take much more time because the research of Hata clan is strongly related with Japanese history.

There might be some other explanation about the unique matching between Japanese Shinto and Jewish influence. But if we think as above, the history becomes natural to me. I don’t know why.

Look at this video, and this one too.  Someone made this ( not me )
