On Speed Skate 500 meter competition, Keiichiro Nagashima and Joji Kato got medals today. Nagashima got silver medal and Koto got bronz medal.

Japanese speed skate team is always expected medals since Kitazawa got silver medal for the first time in Sarajevo Olympic games.  After that, Hiroyasu Shimizu got gold medal in Nagano Olympic, which made Japanese people expect Japanese skaters to get medals in Olympic games.

Especially the speed skate is a very sensitive sport because only a small fail on the ice makes terrible result in speeding. So the skaters need to complete the form on the ice at 100%, then they can get the medals.

Indeed, this result is a joy for us because we know their effort since they started skating is celecrated with the medals today.

Joji Kato especially was expected a medal at previous Olympic but he missed it.  He once again tried all through 4 years after that.  He is really great.

Olympic games makes people happy when we see the smiles of players.  Any people make efforts in their life. So we know how they tried in their life.
