Hayao Miyazaki’s animation works are already treasures of Japan. His works are filled with love, hope and message to the modern society. When we see his movies, we laugh at the screen, but in the same movies we also cry and think.  This is the typical Miyazaki film’s superiority to the other movies.

PONYO ON THE CLIFF is the latest big hit movie by Hayao Miyazaki, and the memory of this movie is still fresh in our mind.

But this movie will be on aired on TV on 5th of February, 2010 in Japan.  This is the first on-air in Japan, so the rating will be high as the several Miyazaki movies that were on aired in the past years.

Spirited away got about 46% rating when it was first on the TV.  This is an amazing rating, we usually think 20% is a high rating result, but 46% means it’s more than double.

Miyazaki movies are enjoyed by all generations, all the family members, and all  kind of people in Japan.  When we see his works, we often remember the time of the movie just like we did that or we were like that when it was in the theaters.

Maybe all the people in the world would have same kind of experience to their own memorial movie works or songs of the times.

Hayao Miyazaki gives us memories, and his works reminds us of the traditional virtue of Japanese people.
