Recently Japanese wine called Sake is getting a little popular among Japanese food fans. The tast of Sake is not like Whisky or French wine, but it’s really good for Japanese traditional foods like Sushi, Sashimi, or Oden although Beer or Whiskey also match well with Japanese foods.
If you first try Japanese Sake, winter time is a good season to taste because Sake is often enjoyed with winter foods like Oden or Boiled foods. Sake is often boiled hot in the pod with hot water, and the taste becomes smoother.
Summer time Sake is not bad at all, but many like beer or whisky in summer time.
Maybe it’s hard to find Sake in foreign countries, when you come to Japan, please try, especially in winter.
