Vancouver Olympic Games and Japan

Who among Japanese players would get medals in Vancouver Olympic ?

This is a hard question because we can’t expect much this time. Usually we expect Ski Jump, Speed Skating, Figure Skating, Short Truck Skating, and Mogle Skiing.  Some players are really expected, for example, Moa Asada for figure skating, Ayako Uemura for mogle skiing, and Daisuke Takahashi for male figure skating, etc. but as reality, everybody is struggling on the border lines.

When I remember past olympic games, rather than recalling the numbers of medals they got, impressive players are often more importnat than anything even if they didn’t get any medals.

When Sapporo Olympic was help in Japan over a long time ago, only medals Japanese team got were from Ski normal hill jump.  We still remember all those players and the scene they hang medals on their necks.  But many other players are also still in our memory.

Like that, medals are not always most important for our history of mind. If we could see good players and impressive scenes, that would be the biggest history of Vancouver Olympic time for us.

More than numbers of medals, I want to see how players act, shout, or cry. All their plays are the reality of human efforts, which also makes us cry.
