MAO ASADA is the most popular ice skating player in Japan. She came up as a top figure skater when she was only 14 years old, and expected to go to the olympic games.  At that time, she was not entitled to join in the games because of her age being too young. If she had played then in the olympic games, I think she could get a gold medal.

Vancouver olympic is the first olympic games for Mao Asada.  She got the 1st prize at the All Japan Competition games held last year, and she got the ticket to Vancouver.  Before this game, she had been suffering from long time slump, so many worried about her olympic.  But she recovered from that worst condition.

Maybe it’s not easy to get a medal for her because many good skaters grew after the last olympic. 

I’m glad that she can finally join in the olympic games.
