Hideki Matsui is today reported that he would join in Anaheim Angeles from next season. I personally think this is a good decision for him. Hideki Matsui has been a top player of Japan, so it was natural that he wanted to join in the top baseball team, Yankees. 

From my eyes, he is still one of the top players but aparrently his best time has passed. Thinking of his age, keeping the home run hitter in the team is really hard.

Maybe Anaheim Angeles would be his final trial. And I also hope he would be back to excite us with his home runs.

If Matsui were still playing in Japan, probably he would still makes more than 40 home runs a year. Being in the top league of the world, the pitchers he faces are also the top players, not like Japanese pitchers.

He could keep the best player in Japan, but he chose the top league for his challenge. 

I will expect his challenge again in Anaheim Angeles.
