Hello.  I’m travelman, this blog’s administrator. This blog offers variety of  infromation about Japan.  I try to write about interesting news happening in Japan and news are chosen just by my own interest. That’s why the infomation category is really wide. Topics are related with any kind of Japanese news or information. I will try to introduce as much information of Japan as possible through my eyes and my thoughts as opposed to the limited capacity of my interest.

I like traveling.  Previously I lived in Hawaii and New Zealand. Still traveling a lot but recently I got tired of the long time flight over countries. It seems right time for me to move back to Japan and settle down.

I was raised by rock music in my teenager time.  Now classical music and jazz are my best relaxing music.

Also many movies and novels changed my life.  When I was a young student, I thought it would be impossible for me to go abroad. It’s no joke, at the time, going abroad was really hard for us Japanese because of poor life standard and high air fare.  Then, many books and movies opened my mind and I noticed there are many wonderful countires and people somewhere I did’t know. 

Many cultures coming to Japan changed my life after all. Then I was excited when I dreamt of going overseas to see what I read in the books, heard on radio and records, and saw on some movies.

I grew old. Now Japanese culture, no mattere whatever it is, makes me feel comfortable although foreign cultures made me excited when I was young. 

It’s my pleasure to tell about Japan through this site to people in the world.  Also it’s my great pleasure if some who read my stories got interested in Japan or its culture just like I did  when was young.
